The making up of a pattern

Creating a hand-knitting pattern is much more than just knitting, much more than writing down stitches and rows. On one hand, it is a meticulous process of designing the garment, choosing the materials, choosing the stitches to be used, and the structure with which it will work.

Also, I always take into account that this design can be explained as clearly as possible and it is enclosed in what characterizes me in the "world" of the patterns.

Then, come all the graphic and audiovisual parts. The verbal explanation in an accurate way in the videos, which later go to the edition and creation of the cover.

The photos represent each of the instructions that accompany the texts. These, as well as the modeled photos, also go through an edition so that they have the best possible light tone and a reliable color of the material, as well as perceptible stitches.

Finally, everything goes through a graphic design program where letterheads, footers, links to the videos, etc. are added.

While I create all the content to work with, other people collaborate with me. One in video editing, one in photo editing and one in the final graphic editing program. Here everything comes together in a visually harmonious pattern, a pattern that does not overwhelm us with information when we look at it, a pattern that makes us want to knit 🧶

P.S. I can't even tell you how much you have to do for the translation of the pattern into English 🤪
